You and Carlos bought the entire moose huh?
No, I ordered a batch of this custom colour - a very dark grey - directly from the tannery and had it sent to LW
That was the only way I could get more moose jackets made lol

That would be awesome with a rusty mouton!
saw you scooped that one. I thought about it, but I'm pretty much at my max right now. Think it's going to be really good. From our very own classifieds, a Thedi apparently in my size.
I couldn’t wait, I took the bait. Soon it’ll be on the way.

oh yeah. Thedi all day long.Yeah man me too! Been wanting to get something in similar style and also been greatly desiring a Thedi…then the stars aligned. Almost went for a Schott 174s but glad I waited. Though I know you’re also a big fan of the 100 series leather…I think this beaut will trump it.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Altogether i think we bought a herd...
I was thinking maybe charcoal moose + fairfield mutton, like this:

Where do you find the padded X-zips? I must be searching all wrong. Great find. Beautiful jacket.
Thanks! This Cal showed up by surprise in one of my daily searches without typing any word, just searching in the proper category. In this case, in a Japanese site. There's any tag inside, so sellers (as you know) usually describe these no-name jacket as "unknown", "vintage", "used" or "double riders". The listing was recently posted when I spotted it, so after double-checking the measurements, took it.i was wondering the same and eventually gave up on waiting for a jacket my size to come around lol
Asap I get it! In fact, I still have to take some fitting photos of all my jackets.fantastic. please post pics when you get.

Lol, I couldn't believe it either you got another one! I am constantly looking, too, never saw a single one appear ever (for me, obviously) and you got three!
Ok, I pick up the gauntlet! I will let you know @JMax if I find a 24" p2p padded Cal. @Monitor, are you a size 40? @Jin431, what's your size? There’s a kickback in it for you if you find one with a 24” or so P2P. I’m in the same boat @Monitor is in. I never even see one, let alone one in my size. And trust me, I look.
As I'm really happy with the quality of my first Shangri-La Heritage suede Trucker which is made in Italy and as I'm looking for something different I'm seriously considering thie Varenne Desert Navajo wool jacket but two things do concern me:
1) Why is this jacket more expensive than their leather jackets (875€). It has veg tanned lambskin applications and probably the wool knitting (by hand?) is more time consuming
2) If I still like this special jacket in a couple of years
What do you guys think?

Awesome, I love it. I own a couple of Navajo inspired RRL shirts t-shirts and sweaters and I wear them a lot. What do you guys think?
Why is this jacket more expensive than their leather jackets
^^exactly thisPlus what you said; Creating a well woven woolen fabric is a lot more time consuming than throwing a dead animal skin into a barrel filled with chemicals. Meat industry being what it is, there's an abundance of leather on the market so it could be argued they're actually saving on the production costs with all the leather bits incorporated into the jacket.
That is absolutely brilliant. Would wear ‘til death no longer allowed it.As I'm really happy with the quality of my first Shangri-La Heritage suede Trucker which is made in Italy and as I'm looking for something different I'm seriously considering thie Varenne Desert Navajo wool jacket but two things do concern me:
