How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

[dan_t]

Another Nice one! I've got a LW coming next week too. Waiting until it arrives to do better pics.

Sent two jackets to Alan— an old police jacket needs a new liner and my Pegasus a new main zip.

Yup, your quite correct there!
It was a bit of an opportunistic buy. Let’s see if it fits & if not, then it’ll probably be listed here in the classifieds.

I feel like I’ve taken a step into the Big Leagues.

1st generation Vanson Comet. Fit pics to come.

This is a dangerous place! I managed to stay away from acquiring jackets for a year, then......
I started clicking around on the Lounge again....
I'll get some pics and details up soon.

Man, some nice jackets here!

There’s a Beck Flying Togs in the mail that should be in next week...doubtful it will fit, but that seems to be par for the course with buying the old ones that I love.

Where in the name of everything that is holy did you buy this from!?

Bought this nice baseball jacket at Target yesterday!

I'm stunned again! Just bought another custom jacket from the same seller. He told me last night he was putting up another for sale. I ask for a pic. Today he sent me a message he posted it. I went looked and bought.

Both the jackets are customs, but in my size. I know the company and know they should fit. Both may be just a bit bold for me. I'm sure they will draw attention, may just be odd Ducks. I doubt I would have ordered either given how these stand out from the crowd.

Fortunately I have a 24 month same as cash deal through my paypal card. If I don't want them I'm confident others will.

Should be here end of next week.

I hear ‘ya. I seem to be getting more interested in vintage jackets now, after having gone after all the cool new ones. Fits my personal pattern with motorcycles and guitars...
I need professional help!

I'm pretty stoked about my new (to me) 1st generation Vanson Comet. Trying to figure out if it's the old "comp weight" or the newer stuff. Not sure when Vanson made the switch.

It weighs a little over 4 lbs., can't stand on its own (it's already well broken in) but I wouldn't call it a wimpy leather. Don't know if the last two digits on the stamped serial number (03) indicate the year made.

It's got a very strong leather scent. Great design and really comfortable to wear. Interestingly, it's a size 42 and I usually wear 38-40 in other brands. I think it fits great.

I don't know anything about Vanson jackets, but this one sure fits you well and looks to be rather nice weight leather.

Thank you kindly. It does have a nice weight and drape. Kind of like the Taubers CR I once had but softer. The leather scent is quite strong.

I was concerned about length but know the Comet is meant to sit above the belt line. It’s a very comfortable fit.

Spot on fit for a Comet. It's a spectacularly nice jacket.
