What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Another trip to say goodbye to some special fish. I frequent a tropical fish store in Portland Or called The Wet Spot (I know...) that caters to high end specialty hobbyists. These Tanganyikan cichlids are too nice to sell to a PetSmart clientele. Wearing the trusty Knox-o-Liner Premier. I still need to fire up my new Jiffy Steamer to refine the brim curl on this one.

The fish looks sad...

That clone is one of my favorites, Red! 125 gallons huh! Looking forward to seeing the pics when that tank gets set up. African cichlids?

I ended up buying a 60" 120 gallon tank while I was there. This one is going to be set up as a heavily planted south American biotope with schools of cardinals and dwarf cichlids. It will be my opus tank. Something like this:

Good looking,Bob,love the band.

Big guns today, very nice Bob. That band is one of my favorites for sure.

Great Bailey Bob and that band works with light colored hats. Is it one your daughter made? Or was it one of the other guys whose daughter was beading?

Thanks fellas! Ed's (@Desert dog) daughter does beadwork, but this one is a Gayle Green with a Jimmy Begay slide. She does hatbands for O'Farrell and others. We've know Gayle for a few years and my wife has known Jimmy for nearly forty years (he made our original wedding bands).
