I like the Petersham ribbon. Very different, but very cool!

Well, I don't like it - but that's just a matter of taste. Stetson's Flagship sported a Petersham ribbon for a short while. Probably the only gents' fedora I've ever seen with a Petersham ribbon - and I understand that. But again, that's just me and my taste in ribbon

It's great felt, so it should just brush off.

Great felt should also be felt great! Amazing looking hat, what is not to love about that one? WOW! All our hats in our home are pampered as it is, so to worry about smudges would be the last thing on the list! That hat would need to be insured against theft! Haha!

Waiting for this babe on May day, brought by a friend from the US: Description by hat make Mike Hodges, H-Bar Hatworks : "Herve, I actually have an original Walt Longmire prototype in the shop. Color is Sahara, size is 7 5/8. It's a 10X beaver and has Sheriff Walt Longmire's name stamped in the sweatband. This was made for the TV show for the actor (Robert Taylor) using the color and tighter pinched crown based off the books. The TV production people decided to change the color to chocolate brown before shooting the pilot. They thought Taylor looked better in the darker color. Let me know if you are interested."

Well the new Whippet in Palomino arrived today which is great....the bad part is now that it is 80 degree weather I won't have much opportunity to wear it until the Fall. I will post pictures later.
